The system is working well. I have found it to be very user friendly and the children have learnt to manage it very quickly. Currently we have tagged about a third of the books. All done by the children. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to other schools.

Choosing Library Plus for our RFID library system was the best decision we could have made here at Berkley. Steve and the team were wonderful to deal with. The process was quick and easy, such an upgrade from our previous supplier. Nothing is too much trouble and the ongoing support has been fantastic. We are now able to function as a fully mobile modern learning environment. I cannot recommend Library Plus enough.

To whom it may concern;
I first met Steve from Library Plus when I enquired about RFIQ security gates for our school library. My initial enquiry was for information about the product and then later, costs to present to our school management. There was no guarantee my request would be granted; indeed it was not initially. Steve continued to be friendly and helpful even when I did not make a purchase. At the end of 2014, I did receive permission to replace our security gates and chose the RFIQ option from Library Plus. Installation was completed over the summer holidays with no disruption to our students or services. I have been very pleased with the product, which is much more accurate and attractive than our old gates. A couple of minor tweaks have been necessary and Steve has been unfailingly and promptly helpful every time I have contacted him. Having settings altered remotely is magic! I highly recommend Steve, the RFIQ security gates and the service from Library Plus.

To whom it may concern.
In April 2014 the new Okaihau College Library/Learning centre was opened. As this was a new build we decided to replace our old style magnetic security gates for a new system and after research into various products, we settled on the RFIQ / RFID Security Gates from Library Plus.
It’s now December and we haven’t had a single problem or one false signal from it, unlike our old dinosaur.
The unit was installed without any problems even on the aluminium floor mat and because of its design, we were able to have the gates 1600cm apart which enabled us to cover the full double door entranceway and provide better access for wheelchairs.
The RFID labels were a snap to add to our existing and new stock, even the wireless keyboard for the TV has an RFID label on it.
The software was installed remotely in advance of the installation and is a breeze to use. The RFIQ Staff Pad was installed under the issuing desk and performs without a hitch even thru a 50mm thick desktop. The ability for the Library Plus team to access the unit via the internet for any maintenance is an added benefit.
We highly recommend these products and cannot praise Steve Sussex and his team at Library Plus enough. If you wish to contact us please do not hesitate to phone the College on (09) 401 9030.

We recently converted our school Library over to a full D-Tech RFID system through Library Plus. We are a large Area School in the Coromandel.
Steve from Library Plus was fantastic; he spent several days on-site, setting up two sets of security gates, and ensuring the RFID system communicated correctly with our Library Management System. Steve also made sure staff were adequately trained for the RFID conversion process, and that we were confident using the technology.
During the school holidays it took a team of five Library Assistants three days to convert the library stock – nearly 9,000 items – to RFID. The conversion procedure is straight forward: the RFID labels are easy to apply, and it only takes seconds to impart item information and a security status onto the labels.
As a result of the move to RFID, the issuing and returning of Library materials is faster and more accurate, with fewer physical actions required than the previous system of scanning barcodes and (de)sensitising the security tattletap. Subsequently, the Library has less circulation and Security Gate errors, even when multiple item transactions have been performed at the same time.
Our school is impressed with the professional and ongoing support provided by Library Plus. Steve is happy to answer any queries, and has come back on-site to do minor adjustments to the security gates and offer additional training.
From the school's perspective the move to RFID has meant better economy of the librarian's time, and has ensured the school has technology that is future proof.

In trying to figure out what to do when our antique security gates died, I was lucky enough to stumble onto libraryplus – Steve patiently talked me through some of my initial questions before I had even made any decisions. Going back to him after looking at all options was the best thing I did!
Steve ensured that our transition to the RFIQ system was smooth and swift – the running of our library was barely interrupted at all, and the physical installation was seamlessly done (I was worried about the carpet for no reason!). He also explained the system and anything I needed to know in language I could understand, which was very reassuring.
I have found the system really easy to use, and Steve’s warmth and professionalism is a real bonus – I know I can recommend libraryplus to other librarians with confidence. I am looking forward to working with libraryplus again when we finally move to the full RFID system in future.

Last July our Operations Manager, Wendy Pyne, contacted Steve at Library Plus regarding the purchase and installation of a library self-issue machine. In February 2017, Steve came down to install the kiosk and explain and demonstrate how it all worked.
Steve has liaised with myself, our Operations Manager and our IT systems administrator and we have found him to be a good person to deal with – responsive, willing to give good customer service and explain technical details in a straightforward manner. He was thorough in the testing phase and has offered follow-up help post installation.
I feel confident that we have a good product and our students have enjoyed having the ability to use the self-issue machine. In time this will be an even more valuable asset – once after hours swipe card access to the library is enabled.
I would recommend Steve and Library Plus as a trustworthy person and company and am happy to speak personally on the matter.
Sincerely,
David Osman, Librarian, Bethlehem Tertiary Institute, Tauranga
Recently Hamilton Boys’ High School Library had a D-Tech RFIQ security system installed by Library Plus. Library Plus also supplied us with security labels for the book collection and the DVD collection. Library Plus provides on going service and if any issues occur it is problem-solved fast and efficiently. Steve Sussex is very approachable and professional. Everything is done to a very high standard. The gates are sturdy yet aesthetically pleasing and the security pads are hidden from view giving the issues and returns desk a cleaner look. The D-Tech RFIQ security system is a modern up to date system which will be compatible to any Library Management System and is adaptable for any future development. I can highly recommend Library Plus to any library looking to update their security system.
